ABOUT THE MINISTRY OF MNRCC

The overall mandate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Climate Change as deduced from various pieces of legislation to provide regulatory and policy direction for conservation, development and management of forestry and natural resources for social economic development of the country. The Ministry is headquartered in Lilongwe and has four(4) technical departments that fall under it. In addition, the Ministry oversees three regulatory authorities and water boards.
